About Me

12346387_10153901000440362_8415842679755243327_nHello, world! My name is Brian Crall. I am a comedian, father, and President of the Sacramento Comedy Foundation which operates the Sacramento Comedy Spot, Sacramento Improv Marathon, Sacramento Stand-Up Competition, and Sacramento Comedy Festival.

On Friday nights, I host a weekly variety show at Sacramento Comedy Spot called The Friday Show. I also perform on Saturday nights in Anti-Cooperation League the Comedy Spot’s flagship improv show. And I perform in YOU! The Musical, a completely improvised musical, once a month. I am reviving my old podcast, the Top 10 List Podcast and I do a late night monthly character show called Ding Dong’s Character Circus

I am a pretty busy guy these days. I am always trying to find a happy balance between my family, running a growing non-profit, and personal projects.

In 2005, I opened the Sacramento Comedy Spot, home to improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy shows, and Northern California’s largest comedy school. I teach classes and perform in shows there on a weekly basis. My comedy career began in 2001 when I created a sketch group called the Free Hooch Comedy Troupe.

I have three great kids who think I’m not very cool. Which is correct.

Every once in a while, I get to interview celebrities about their upcoming movies. I’ve had the opportunity talk with a ton of actors, including Hugh Jackman, Bradley Cooper, Simon Pegg, Peter Dinklage, Michael Fassbender, Nick Frost, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Tom Hardy, Kristen Wigg, Jason Bateman, Patrick Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, and Kristen Stewart, among others. You can see some of those interviews and other weird stuff on my YouTube Channel. You can see what I am doing on a day to day basis on Instagram
